Symbols of Peque

The flag and arms (image) of Peque are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 29 October 2009 by the Municipal Council, signed on 18 November 2009 by the Mayor, and published on 7 December 2009 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 234, p. 34,440 (text).
Designed by Vicente Tocino Letrado and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas and approved by the Chronicler of Arms of Castile and León, the symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag in proportions 2:3, made of three horizontal stripes in proportions 1/4, 1/2 and 1/4, green on top, white with a wolf passant noir with a red tongue in the middle, blue on bottom.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Argent a wolf passant sable langued gules surrounded by two oaks eradicated vert, 2. Azure a wavy fess argent charged with a trout azure. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
