Presentation of Zamora Province

The Zamora Province (194,214 inhabitants in 2010; 10,561 sq. km) is located in the northwest of Castile and León.

Flag of Zamora Province

According to Manual del Estado Español (text), the "historical flag" of the Zamora Province is made of "nine stripes, eight of [red] flesh colour (...) and one green located in the upper part".
The flag is, therefore, the same as the flag of the town of Zamora.
