Description of the flag

According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Nara Thiwat province is vertically divided yellow (2/3) and on the last 1/3, 7 stripes (4 red and 3 white). The provincial seal is in the center of the yellow part.

The seal of the province shows a sailing boat with a white elephant on the sail. The white elephant. a royal symbol, commemorates the white elephant Phra Sri Nararat Rajakarini which was caught here and presented to the king.
