The coat of arms of Turnišče is prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu Občina Turnišče, adopted by the Municipal Council on 19 October 1998, but seemingly never published in the Slovene official gazette.
The Decision prescribes the coat of arms but does not describe it; a drawing is suppsed to be attached to the Decision.

The coat of arms is a golden bordered green shield with the golden image of a window, two wheat ears, scissors, a skin and a horseshoe.
Quoting Stanič & Jakopič [j2s05]:

The coat of arms is in the shape of a medieval shield. In the middle there is a stylized Gothic window with openings, symbol of the Romanesque church of Mary. Under it there are a corn ear, symbol of the link with the earth and with the bread as the symbol of wealth. In the base of the coat of arms are golden symbols of guilds:
- scissors representig the tailors' guild
- a skin representing the shoemakers' association
- a horseshoe symbolizing smiths' company.
