The arms are Or an pair of scissors open Azure garnished sable and in dexter chief a brickhammer Gules handled Sable and in sinister chief a bunch of grapes Purpure leaved Vert, in base wavy Azure a fess wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "RUIVÃES".
