The arms are Azure a local sailship, so called almadrava Argent rigged Argent masted Or and garnished Gules cruising ona base wavy Argent charged with a bar wavy Vert icharged with two tuna fish naiant Argent, dexter and sinister chief a couped chevron Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "CABANAS DE TAVIRA".
