The arms are Argent two windmill wheels Sable roped Sable and dressed Azure, in chief an open book Argent bound Gules and garnished Or,in base on a mound Sable a heart Gules crowned Gules and nimbed Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "QUEIJAS - OEIRAS".

Queijas Commune is one of the 10 communes of Oeiras Municipality (q.v.); it had 8771 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 2,27 km².
