New Munster is a historical name for New Zealand's South Island. This name
was adopted by the movement struggling for independence of this island:
http://newmunster.webs.com. Proposed
flag of this state is white with green Scandinavian cross which is blue
fimbriated. White stands for icebergs, green stands for forests and blue stands
for sky and sea.

There is such a group and flag (a very small group). This is the first time
I've seen an explanation for the flag's colours - and it puzzles me a little.
Snow or glaciers on the mountains, I'd understand, but icebergs? Over the course
of the last 100 years, two icebergs have been distantly sighted from the south
coast, one in the late 1920s and one about five years ago.
