Symbols of San Miguel de Bernuy

The flag and arms of San Miguel de Bernuy are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 29 March 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 20 May 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 13 June 2003 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 113, p. 8,693 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, vertically divided in two parts with proportions 1/3 at hoist and 2/3 at fly, at hoist red with a sword pointing upwards, at fly white with two horizontal wavy blue stripes of 1/10 the flag's hoist.
Coat of arms: Argent an Archangel St. Michael [San Miguel] gules ensigned with two pines vert eradicated in point wavy azure and argent. Chapé gules a spike or dexter another sinister. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
