Symbols of Aldeanueva de Figueroa

The flag and arms (image) of Aldeanueva de Figueroa are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 15 May 2008 by the Municipal Council, signed on 19 May 2008 by the Mayor, and published on 2 June 2008 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 104, p. 10,606 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of two equal vertical stripes, the stripe at hoist red and the stripe at fly yellow with three green fig tree [higuera]'s leaves placed 2 and 1.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a Cross of Saint James gules, 2. Or five fig tree leaves vert per saltire. The shield surmonted with a Royal crown closed.
