Meaning: Colours of the arms, which shows a green valley on a yellow field. The scallop is the symbol of St John the Baptist, the town's patron saint.

A flag divided by a diagonal red stripe from bottom hoist to top fly, the top hoist yellow with a red scallop, the bottom fly green. Colours and scallop from the city arms, as it appears in the Catalan Vexillological Association website.
