Presentation of Serranillos

The municipality of Serranillos (288 inhabitants in 2010; 2,074 ha) is located in the south of Ávila Province, 50 km of Ávila.

Symbols of Serranillos

The flag and arms of Serranillos are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 15 July 1997 by the Provincial Executive and published on 6 August 1997 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 109 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of two triangles with a common vertex in lower hoist and the two other in the midpoint of the upper edge of the flag and in mid fly, the triangle at hoist white and the lower triangle yellow, all over a green quadrilateral.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Vert an Hispanic goat rampant argent, 1b. Or a romana sable, 2. Argent a mount El Cabezo vert. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
