Description of coat of arms:
Three blue leaves of a water-lily are growing out of a blue base, bordered by a fessy wavy line , into a golden (=yellow) field.
Meaning:
According to source The leaves are taken from the coat of arms of the duchy of Engern (in early times capital of famous Saxon's duke Widukind) which was used by the archbishops of Köln together with the Westphalian white horse (Saxon horse). One of the archbishop's titles since the beginning of the 16th century was "Duke of Engern and Westphalia".
