Pascal Vagnat reported in the German mailing list the Baden-Württemberg 1952-2002 Jubilee Ehrenfahne (Honour Flag). One copy of this flag will be presented to each of the representatives of the four largest cities, of the four smallest municipalities of each district (Regierungsbezirk) and of the largest and smallest counties (Landkreise), as a gift from the state of Baden-Württemberg for the dedication of the administrative units of all those levels to the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the state.
The first flags were presented on 25th April to the mayors of the cities of Stuttgart, Mannheim, Karlsruhe and Freiburg, of the municipalities of Drackenstein (Stuttgart District), Emeringen (Tübingen District), Böllen (Freiburg District) and Wörnersberg (Karlsruhe District), and the councils of the Rhein-Neckar and Hohenlohe counties.
The flags (for indoor use) measure 120 × 80 cm and show the state colours (horizontally) black and yellow with the greater arms and the inscription "1952 - 2002: 50 Jahre Baden-Württemberg".
